Who we are
LanternKey (“we”) is run by Rooz Amin, a sole trader (not a registered company) in Islamabad, Pakistan. We serve customers worldwide. Our address is [Business address]. You can contact us at hello@lanternkey.online.
How we protect your data
Because we work from Pakistan, the details you give us are handled there. Pakistan doesn’t yet have a general data protection law like the GDPR. So we apply GDPR-level standards ourselves, to everyone, wherever you live.
In practice:
- we protect our accounts with strong passwords and two-step login
- we never sell personal data
- we only use personal data in the ways described on this page
What this website collects
We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers. This site doesn’t set cookies itself.
It saves one small setting in your browser: whether you picked Daylight or Night. That stays on your device. It isn’t sent to us.
Our fonts are stored on our own website. Your browser doesn’t ask Google, or anyone else, for them.
Like every website, our website host, Hostinger, sees your IP address and the pages you ask for when you visit. [what Hostinger keeps in its logs and for how long]
When you email us
The “Join the pilot by email” buttons and the email links open your own email app, with a ready-made message for the buttons. This website doesn’t collect anything when you press them. We only receive what you choose to send, at hello@lanternkey.online.
We keep your email and our reply so we can answer you and remember what we said. We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask. We do this because it’s in our legitimate interest to reply to people who write to us.

When we build automations for you
When we build or run AI automation agents for a client, those agents may process the client’s business data. For example, messages, contact details or documents the client gives us access to.
We only use that data to deliver the service we agreed, and we act on the client’s instructions. We don’t use client data to train AI models. We sign a Data Processing Agreement on request.
The tools we use for this work are:

How long we keep it
Emails: we keep them for 12 months after we last spoke, unless you or your business becomes a client.

- Our email provider, named above
- For client work only: the AI, automation and workspace tools named above
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you
- correct it if it’s wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or limit how we use it
- give you a copy in a form you can reuse
You can also object to us using your data where we rely on our legitimate interest. Email us at hello@lanternkey.online and we’ll reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you’re not happy, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live. For example, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab)) in the UK, or your national data protection authority in the EU.
If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We don’t sell or share personal information.

This notice covers this website, email, and the automations we build for clients. If we start handling data in other ways, we’ll update this notice first. If we change it, we’ll put the new version here and update the date at the top.
